ABOUT US

Polymath started with one goal: to take the best in music and cinema and get it in front of the right people. Something we’ve been doing with gusto since 2009. We’ve worked with BAFTA Scotland & BIFA winning filmmakers, Grammy & Ivor Novella Award winning artists, on projects starring Academy Award nominated & Golden Globe winning actors, and rising artists still finding their feet; the size is irrelevant if the work is solid.

WHO ARE WE AND WHY SHOULD YOU HIRE US?

We’re an award nominated Public Relations company based in Nottingham, UK, working primarily in entertainment and culture.

We’ve handled press for countless film & record releases, events, and tours including the awards and festival run for the BAFTA Scotland & BIFA winning short film Too Rough and Iranian/Norwegian metallers Confess’s latest album, which was listed in Metal Hammer’s “Most Anticipated Records Of 2022” list. We’ve also worked with Mosley Studios on their release for “The Ascent”, which was the first film to premiere inside VR.

We’ve managed media affairs for clients at the Edinburgh International Film Festival, Hollyshorts, Birmingham Comic Con, and Download Festival. We’ve participated in and chaired events, panels, and Q&As on PR for AMPAS, BAFTA Connect, BFI NETWORK, NAMM, & BBC Introducing, among others.

We’ve also handled affairs for an award-winning true crime podcast, a Netflix-acquired Nigerian sit-com, and a Norwegian heavy metal festival. We’ve worked numerous campaigns starring Oscar nominated actor John Malkovich; the short film “Hell” and the vinyl release “Illuminate” and promoted Metal Hammer’s comeback issue.

If you’re promoting a new movie, project, event, or record and you’re in need of PR, Polymath has you covered.
